Job summary

Electro Cables, a Nexans company, is seeking Machine Operators to support manufacturing across our Ontario facilities. You will operate equipment, monitor quality, and assist with production documentation in a rotating shift setup.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or with a team. Prior manufacturing experience and strong safety mindset are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation environment is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with procedures and specifications.
• Monitor product quality to ensure standards are met.
• Perform basic measurements using calipers and micrometers.
• Complete production documentation and reporting as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production requirements.
