Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Kansas is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role supports production lines, monitors equipment, and ensures quality while maintaining safety standards.

We offer a $1000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay with benefits. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least two years in manufacturing, with ability to lift up to 80 pounds and follow directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years experience in a manufacturing organization.
• Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal direction.
• Ability to wear all required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, ear protection.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently to produce products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
• Monitor the operations of machinery and associated equipment to detect and report malfunctions.
• Perform machine clean-up, set-up, preventive maintenance, and other duties related to job changes.
• Work with conveyors, ramps, elevators and other machinery.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out and CPM.
• Cross train on other aspects of the production process.
• Operate mobile equipment as needed.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy.
