Mechanic Assembly Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Mechanic Assembly Technician for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for performing an array of duties.

Pay Rate

$19.00 or more per hour based on experience.

Schedule and Hours

1st shift Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 00 pm.
2nd shift Monday through Friday, 3 00 pm to 11 30 pm.
3rd shift Sunday through Thursday, 11 00 pm to 7 30 am.

Mechanic Assembly Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble component parts, either sub-assemblies or completed units. This will include electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, structural, and plastic parts.
• Use hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment to tear down and rebuild various machinery for shipment.
• Work in hot or cold temperatures.
• Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.

• High School Diploma or GED.
