Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in Decatur, AL. This role requires setting up and operating CNC and manual equipment, interpreting blueprints, and producing precision parts that meet exact specifications.

The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with pay starting at $30 per hour based on experience. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime potentially starting at 6:00 am.

• 2 years’ experience as a machinist.

Responsibilities

• Produce or repair precision parts using manual and CNC equipment and accurate measurements.
• Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand required specifications.
• Perform routinemachine maintenance and minor repairs.

CNC Machinist

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in Decatur, AL. Pay Rate

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday,700 am to330 pm, with OT currently starting at 6 00 am.

CNC Machinist Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce or repair precision parts using manual and CNC equipment and accurate measurements.
• Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand required specifications.
• Perform routinemachine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Select appropriate machines, such as lathes, and position/load material.
• Check part tolerances to ensure parts meet specifications.

CNC Machinist Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 years’ experienceas a machinist.
• Experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated, or automated machines, including lathes and grinders.
• Ability toread blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers.
• Good mathematical and analytical skills.
