Job summary

Phillips Staffing is seeking a Machine Cleaner to join the maintenance team in Williamston, SC. The candidate should be safety-minded, dependable, and mechanically inclined, able to follow instructions both independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities include supporting the plant safety process, conducting preventive maintenance, LOTO procedures, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Shift is 1st (7am–3pm) with a pay rate of $14.42 per hour.

Qualifications

• Safety-minded and able to follow established safety procedures.
• Able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance tasks.
• Basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.
• Able to use basic test equipment and document work.
• Able to perform and document preventive maintenance.
• Capable of following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and support the plant safety process.
• Properly Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) equipment before performing maintenance.
• Perform general and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and mechanical systems.
• Develop a working understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Safely operate and use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment and accurately document completed work.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for various equipment and systems.
• Monitor, maintain, and order spare parts as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and maintenance practices.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance team, engineers, and management regarding equipment needs and maintenance activities.
