Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician to join our Spartanburg, SC team. The role focuses on operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read mechanical blueprints. High school diploma or GED preferred; willingness to pass assessments is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and hands-on equipment experience.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and parts specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production line machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pumps, bearings, gears, chain drives, and power transmission
• Perform equipment alignments and precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and parts specifications
• Safely operate forklifts and aerial lifts, including at elevated heights
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment reliability
• Complete required testing, documentation, and data entry
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe manufacturing environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
