Job summary

MiTek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support stamping operations in Minnesota. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues to keep plant equipment running smoothly.

You will perform preventative maintenance, install new equipment, and seek productivity improvements in processes and machines. Strong attention to safety and the ability to work essential shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Language: Effective communication with coworkers and management on work and safety issues.
• Reading: Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Math: Perform basic arithmetic with various units of measure.
• Reasoning: Understands and follows instructions with safety in mind.
• Computer: Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with stamping operations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical).
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize productivity per manufacturer specs or internal standards.
• Improve productivity through equipment, material, or process improvements for stamping operations.
• Install and troubleshoot new equipment as directed.
• Be present for scheduled shifts and comply with overtime requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
