Job summary

Apple Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Manager to lead the Machine Translation Quality Engineering team.

You will own the test strategy for translation and machine intelligence products, collaborating with client/server/model releases and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality translation services. You will lead a team of SDETs and QEs, drive testing methodologies, and ensure comprehensive coverage across Apple’s hardware ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality/test engineering with at least 2 in a lead or management role.
• Proven track record of driving test strategy for mission-critical SDKs, APIs, and applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and strong problem solving with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Apple operating systems, including iOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SDETs and Quality Engineers to validate functionality, performance and accuracy across Apple’s hardware ecosystem.
• Participate in defining testing strategies and methodologies to enhance overall software quality.
• Collaborate with developers, engineering program managers, and partner QA teams to comprehend feature requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
