Job summary

Gosiger in Torrance, CA is seeking an apprentice service technician to learn and perform troubleshooting, maintenance, service, and repair of machine tools. This safety-sensitive role requires completing training and vendor programs with on-the-job experience at customer sites.

The position supports installations, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance while documenting work and maintaining high safety standards. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent with 2+ years of machine tools experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain passport and travel as needed for training or customer sites.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training, installations, showroom prep, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with proper installation, service, and repair procedures for equipment and processes.
• Communicate with customers about arrival, progress, and checkout at customer sites.
• Document and report required information for work records and reports.
• Maintain cleanliness and care of company property and tools.
