Job description

Shift: Days and Nights - Must be willing to work weekends as needed

Description:

1. Installs pneumatic lines (Gas/air) and hydraulic lines (Fluids) to machines.
2. Builds/install headers and threads pipe.
3. Pipes robots, tools, sealer equipment, etc.
4. Able to read schematic drawings.
5. Selects type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, per job specifications.
6. Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions.
7. Plans sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers.
8. Cuts pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutter, and pipe cutting machine.
9. Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machine.
10. Mounts pipe hangers and brackets.
11. Preps valve pack and manifold.
12. Runs hose and dresses tool per customer requirements.
13. Assembles and installs a variety of metal or nonmetal hoses and fittings, using threaded soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints, and hand tools.
14. Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools.
15. Installs and maintains refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including compressors, pumps, meters, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, and piping.
16. Tests piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks.
