Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Piping Installer / Specialist with in-depth knowledge of piping standards. This role will be responsible for the layout, installation, modification, and maintenance of compressed air, vacuum, and inert gas piping systems using AIRpipe aluminum piping systems in industrial and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and install AIRpipe aluminum piping systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints related to compressed air systems.
• Ensure all installations meet relevant codes, regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales engineers, contractors, and facility managers to coordinate system layout and integration.
• Inspect and test piping systems for proper operation, pressure integrity, and leak prevention.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing AIRpipe systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installation, repair, and inspection activities.
• Train junior staff or facility personnel in best practices for AIRpipe system handling.
• Ensure job site cleanliness and adherence to company safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in mechanical systems, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of piping installation experience.
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems, industrial piping layouts, and compressed air systems.
• Ability to operate pipe-cutting and fitting tools with precision.
• Ability to operate scissor / boom lift.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and other workplace safety standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Clearn driving record and valid driver's license; willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred:

• Knowledge / experience with AIRpipe aluminum piping systems or other modular piping systems (e.g., Transair, AIRnet, Infinity Pipe, UnipipeAIR, RapidAIR, Prevost, etc.) is a plus.
