Job summary

HireCall is seeking a Machine Tool Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Tulsa, OK. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tools such as mills, lathes, and grinders, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

You will work with production and engineering to improve reliability, while maintaining logs and adhering to safety procedures. The role offers a Monday–Thursday schedule, with a 4:30 PM–3:00 AM shift and a competitive pay range ($25.00–$34.00/hr DOE) plus

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders, and similar manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience diagnosing electrical components and wiring issues.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tools including mills, lathes, grinders, and other production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Support production by responding quickly to maintenance issues during the shift.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records.

Machine Tool Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: Monday–Thursday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Pay: $25.00–$34.00 per hour DOE + 11.5% Shift Premium

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tools including mills, lathes, grinders, and other production equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize machine performance and minimize downtime
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Support production by responding quickly to maintenance issues during the shift
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

What We're Looking For

• Experience maintaining and repairing machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders, and similar manufacturing equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Experience diagnosing electrical components and wiring issues
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems
• Preventive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work 2nd shift

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, squat, climb, and move throughout the shift while inspecting and repairing equipment
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and position materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds
• Work in confined spaces around production equipment when necessary
• Use lifting devices whenever possible while safely handling materials and equipment
