Menehune Water Company is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our 5 Gallon Division in Aiea, HI. You will keep bottling machinery running at peak efficiency through inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair to support delivery of pure, high‑quality water across Hawaii.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to lift and handle heavy objects; adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production machinery routinely and correct issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Complete repairs and part replacements.
• Calibrate and fine‑tune machines for performance and product quality.
• Keep detailed maintenance records and parts inventory.
• Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize disruption.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect production machinery routinely and correct issues promptly
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
• Complete repairs and part replacements
• Calibrate and fine‑tune machines for performance and product quality
• Keep detailed maintenance records, including work orders and parts inventory
• Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance, including mechanical and electrical wire repair and pneumatic and hydraulic theory and procedure
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and handle heavy objects
• Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong commitment to safe work practices
