Aerotech Inc is seeking a Machine Shop Support Technician in Pittsburgh to assist in shop activities. The role requires basic blueprint reading, hand-tool use, and material handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience in a machine shop or similar environment.
• Must be able to recognize and use hand tools (file, tri-blade, drill).
• Equivalent education/experience considered.

Responsabilités

• Remove burrs and smooth sharp surfaces on precision machined parts.
• Identify and use hand tools (file, tri-blade, drill).
• Operate CNC and manual bandsaws.
• Match blueprints to materials and travelers by part number and revision.
• Read basic blueprints and load/unload materials for machining.
• Support inventory cycle counts and facility housekeeping.
