Job summary

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, seeks a Machine Shop Support individual to assist manufacturing operations and ensure customer satisfaction.

The role includes inspecting and packaging machined components, light assembly, and operating material handling equipment, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and cross-training across the Components Division. Ideal candidates are reliable, physically capable to lift up to 50 lbs, comfortable with math and measurements, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience shipping materials and handling related paperwork (Familiarity with D365 is a substantial plus).
• Comfortable with math, drawings, and measuring devices.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Mechanically inclined with an aptitude for hands‑on tasks.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be willing to cross‑train.
• Must be able to follow set‑up directions, and understand product specifications.
• Must be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workload to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Operate all washing and packaging equipment.
• Manages inventory control for tip inspection machines and finished goods.
• Uses inspection tools to ensure quality standards.
• Complete assembly of machined components.
• Other work duties as needed.
