SUMMARY:

The Machine Shop Quality Inspector – CMM Programmer programs CMM and supports Quality Assurance with inspection of parts with metrology equipment. Reports to the Quality Manager.

SCHEDULE: 6am-3:30pm 9/80 schedule

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Programs Hexagon CMM and Romer Arm with PCDemis software and associated inspection
• Creates part setup plans for CMM
• Provides feedback to machine shop and engineering for adjustments as required
• Performs measurement inspection of parts, including AS9102 First Article Inspection
• Documents nonconformances as they are discovered
• Assists Quality Assurance with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Communicates effectively with inspectors, machinists, and engineering teams

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Required Education: High School diploma
• Proficiency with GD&T
• 3+ years programming Hexagon CMM and PCDemis software
• Working experience in AS9100 or equivalent quality system
• Epicor ERP experience highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Must be a U.S. citizen
