Watteredge LLC in Avon Lake, OH is seeking a dependable 2nd shift Production Worker for our Machine Shop team. You will load and unload parts, deburr, bend, finish, and handle materials while following prints and instructions to meet quality specs.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, good manual dexterity, and the ability to work well with others in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. OSHA safety rules and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience is a plus.
• Must be dependable and able to work well in a team.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity needed.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, handle, and move parts and materials.
• Perform deburring, bending, grinding, polishing, and finishing operations.
• Operate production equipment and hand tools per work instructions.
• Produce parts within specifications and tolerances.
• Read and follow production instructions and drawings.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.

What You'll Do

• Load, unload, handle, and move parts and materials throughout the Machine Shop.
• Perform deburring, bending, grinding, polishing, and other finishing operations.
• Operate production equipment and hand tools according to work instructions, prints, and specifications.
• Produce parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Read and follow production instructions, procedures, and basic engineering documentation.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Inspect equipment before use and perform routine adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
