Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows in Madison, NH is seeking a Machine Shop Manager to provide hands-on leadership for shop floor operations, safety, quality, and delivery while fostering accountability and continuous improvement. You will lead for performance and workforce development in a lean manufacturing environment.

The role has full site operations responsibility with no direct P&L, and you will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality to execute production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred — equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Proven success implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methodologies with measurable impact.
• Strong history of building cohesive teams and developing leaders.
• Experience in machine shop operations (CNC machining, tooling, or precision manufacturing).
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and change management skills.

This role is responsible for the overall leadership, operation, and performance of our Madison, NH machine shop. The Machine Shop Manager provides hands‑on leadership for shop floor operations, workforce development, safety, quality, and customer delivery while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork. The ideal candidate combines strong machining expertise with proven people leadership skills and the ability to drive operational excellence.

This position has full responsibility for site operations and personnel management but does not have direct Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility.
