Job summary

Dukane IAS LLC in St. Charles, IL is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair machinery in the shop.

The role requires skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and reading schematics. Responsibilities include establishing a PM plan, servicing CNC machines, coordinating with OEMs, fabricating repair parts, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of industrial or machine shop maintenance experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute a Preventive Maintenance plan.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on shop equipment (manual and CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Coordinate with OEM repair technicians for in-house equipment repairs.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools as needed.
• Disassemble/reassemble machinery to replace defective components.
• Test and inspect repaired components with precision instruments.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain maintenance records and manage spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Assist in installation, relocation, and setup of new equipment.
