Job summary

Multiquip is seeking a hands-on Machine Shop Lead in Boise, ID to guide daily machining operations, mentor staff, and ensure quality parts. You will plan work, assign tasks, and coordinate with engineering and production to resolve issues while maintaining a safe, efficient shop.

The role requires experience with CNC and manual lathes/mills, blueprint reading, and strong communication. Forklift certification is preferred; excellent benefits accompany a competitive wage.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Machinist certificate or equivalent education/experience.
• 1–2 years of related Machine Shop experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Machine Shop activities and coordinate workflow.
• Train and support employees on machining processes and safety.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues to keep production moving.
• Ensure parts meet specifications and quality requirements.
