Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a production-oriented technician to set up and program operating machines, validate first test sequences, and support ramp-up while ensuring accurate records and adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities include machine inspection, product checks for approval, and collaboration with maintenance to minimize downtime. The role requires basic measuring skills, reading blueprints, and the ability to work on site in the US.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Operate medium-complex machinery for inspection.
• Good visual acuity and ability to lift moderate weights.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program operating machines and perform first test checks.
• Oversee ramp up and support operators in machine operation.
• Support maintenance to prevent downtime and inspect machines.
• Follow procedures and keep accurate records and tracking.
• Check finished product and submit for approval.
• Ensure PPE and safety rules are followed.
