Sauder Manufacturing Co. in Archbold, Ohio is hiring for Machine Operator roles at multiple levels, including entry level and CNC opportunities. Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Responsibilities include machine setup, tooling changes, reading blueprints, data entry, and maintaining safety and quality. Candidates should be detail oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs, read and follow instructions, use basic hand and power tools, train others, and participate in 5S and daily cleaning.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and capable of accurate work.
• Read, write and follow instructions in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to read blueprints or markers and perform complex parts processes.

SCHEDULE: First shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or Second Shift 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

We have entry level machine operator positions and highly skilled CNC opportunities.

Position Summary:

Machine Operator III will have various tasks and responsibilities including:

• Complex Machine set up, tooling changes and changeovers
• Machine troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Ability to use computers
• Able to read blueprint or markers
• Enter detailed program data for complex parts and processes
• Accurate use of complex measurement tools
• Complex parts and processes
• A lot of Varying parts, fine detail, last step before finishing

Position Requirements:

• Must be detail-oriented
• Ability to recognize discrepancies and initiate resolution
• Regular lifting and maneuvering and positioning of product up to 50 lbs.
• Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending and lifting
• Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal
• Able to use basic hand tools and small power equipment
• Able to assist in training employees
• 5-S audits and daily cleaning
• Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
