Job summary

Sauder Manufacturing Co. in Archbold, Ohio, is seeking a 2nd Shift Cap Line Machine Operator II to support production on the cap line. You will set up machines, perform changeovers, troubleshoot, read blueprints, and enter program data to keep lines running smoothly and safely.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand most of the shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow instructions. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; benefits include medical, vision, HSA contributions, 401(k)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints or markers and enter data accurately.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday - 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Position Summary:

Machine Operator II will have various tasks and responsibilities including:

  • Machine setup, tooling changes and changeovers
  • Machine troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Ability to use computers
  • Able to read blueprint or markers
  • Enter program data
  • Accurate use of complex measurement tools

Position Requirements:

  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Regular lifting and maneuvering and positioning of product up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending and lifting
  • Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal
  • Able to use handheld power tools with accuracy and precision
  • Able to assist in training employees
  • 5-S audits and daily cleaning
  • Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
