Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is hiring Machine Operators for the 10‑hour Night Shift. Starting pay is $20.75 per hour with a $1.25 per hour night shift differential. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with overtime on Fridays as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to solve problems and follow written directions.

• Ability to read a tape measure and measure tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery on the production line.
• Meet daily goals and scheduling needs.
• Tear down and set up jobs as needed.
• Load and unload products from machines.
• Interpret work orders and SOPs to complete tasks.
• Paletize and bagbox items for shipping.
• Keep work area clean and safe; follow SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve targets.

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Operating machinery
• Complete tasks within adequate time limits, meet daily goal/scheduled needs
• Tearing down and setting up jobs
• Loading and unloading of product
• Interpret and understand written information (work orders, SOP, tickets, etc.)
• Palletization and bagging
• Keeping work and surrounding areas clean and safe
• Work in a team environment
• Must comply with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any job or department specific SOP’s
• SOP’s may cover the area of (but are not limited to):
  • Employee Health & Safety
  • SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured
