KENT Nutrition Group, Inc. in Arcade, NY is hiring Machine Operators to keep production safe, efficient, and compliant while delivering high-quality feed products. The role offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with competitive pay and standard benefits.

You will operate bagging equipment and other feed manufacturing machinery, follow safety protocols, and assist with scheduling, inventory, and maintenance as needed. A HS diploma and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience are preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing/factory experience.
• Farming background is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Daily operation of equipment to process and manufacture feed products.
• Operate the bagger, sewing machine, forklift and feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow warehouse and loading protocols.
• Ensure Kent Nutrition's quality assurance is met regarding ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging.
• Record and document all feed manufactured during shift.
• Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently assuring accuracy and high quality.
• Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning & control for both ingredients and finished products.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
• Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Observe and enforce all company policies & procedures.
• Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.

You’ll play an important role in keeping production running safely and efficiently while helping deliver the high-quality products our customers count on. • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available!
• The compensation range for this role is $21.50- $22.50, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED
• 3 to 5 years manufacturing/factory experience
• Farming background a plus
• Mechanical aptitude preferred

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Good communication, verbal, written and math skills
• Able to effectively communication with customers, co-workers and customers
• Ability to work as a team member
• Thorough understanding of cGMP’s
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, HACCP Feed & Safety Plan, and FSMA
• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. from floor to working height as job requires
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
