KENT Nutrition Group, Inc. in Rockford, IL is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift to support feed production. You will handle daily equipment operation, quality checks, loading, and safe handling of materials to ensure high quality feed products.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Farming background is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Daily operation of equipment to process and manufacture feed products.
• Operate the bagger, sewing machine, forklift and all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow warehouse and loading protocols.
• Ensure KNG’s quality assurance is met regarding ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging.
• Record and document all feed manufactured during shift.
• Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently assuring accuracy and high quality.
• Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning & control for both ingredients and finished products.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
• Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Observe and enforce all company policies & procedures.
• Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Management

KENT Nutrition Group, Inc., a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™family of companies has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Machine Operator at the Rockford, IL plant! The Machine Operator will perform routine tasks related to the feed production including quality control, ingredient and feed processing, manufacturing and load out, ingredient receiving and storage, equipment maintenance and housekeeping. The Machine Operator must possess a strong work ethic, customer focused, hardworking and desire to work as a team member. This hourly position has the opportunity for growth, and comes with a complete benefit package! This is a 1st shift opportunity!

• The starting wage for this role is $19.82 per hour in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 plus years of manufacturing experience
• Farming background a plus
• Mechanical aptitude preferred

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Good communication, verbal, written and math skills
• Able to effectively communication with customers, co-workers and customers
• Ability to work as a team member
• Thorough understanding of cGMP’s
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, HACCP Feed & Safety Plan, and FSMA
• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. from floor to working height as job requires
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
