Job description

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in Lafayette, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for the production, manufacturing, and quality of machinery. Positions are full-time temporary to hire.

Pay Rate

Day shift: $18.00 per hour

Night shift: $19.00 per hour

Shifts and Schedules

Day shift: 8:00am-8:00pm

Night shift: 8:00pm-8:00am

2 days on-3 days off rotation (must be willing to work weekend rotation)

Machine Operator Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with Extrusion machines
• Run assembly station with push buttons or guiding handles
• Prepare material for removal by warehouse personnel
• Pack parts into large cardboard boxes, plastic bags, or place in large wire buggies for removal by warehouse staff
• Pack products according to specifications while inspecting for quality
• Accurately complete all required paperwork
• Notify supervisor of any production or quality issues immediately

Machine Operator Job Requirements and Qualifications

• 2 years of verifiable machine operator experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds (In-office lifting assessment required)
• Work in high moisture environments
• Background check and drug screen required
