Work Shift: 8hr - 3rd Shift 11p-7:30a, Su-Th Batavia (United States of America)

The Machine Operator will operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. The role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. The Machine Operator is also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices. Additionally, this role will serve as a Yard Jockey, moving trailers around the property.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
2. Maintain punctuality and adhere to the work schedule.
3. Work effectively with others, demonstrating a One Team Cross Functional attitude.
4. Participate in continuous improvement processes to drive change within the plant.
5. Follow company General Manufacturing Policies and safety standards.
6. Keep the work area clean and organized.
7. Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to produce quality bottles.
8. Adhere to quality control and blow mold process procedures.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve process problems.
10. Perform bottle inspections and quality checks.
11. Make adjustments to meet product specifications.
12. Perform minor repairs on equipment and escalate issues when necessary.
13. Monitor and replenish packaging materials.
14. Ensure correct labeling and packaging according to customer requirements.
15. Move finished goods to designated areas.
16. Document daily production reports and maintenance requests.
17. Serve as the primary Yard Jockey for the shift.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Basic mathematical skills and computer experience.
• Experience with blow molding preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, handle, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Work Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, and temperature fluctuations. PPE is required.
