Job summary

Central Moloney in Panama City, FL is seeking a Coil Winding Technician for weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) to operate winding machines, load materials, and ensure coils meet precise specifications. You will report to the Production Supervisor and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing line.

As part of a team, you will uphold quality checks, follow blueprints, and participate in continuous improvement efforts, with overtime opportunities and potential full weeks through

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Comfortable using manual and powered hand tools.

Coil Winding Technician – Weekend Shift

Location: Panama City, FL

Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (with overtime as needed)

Reports To: Production Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Compensation: $22 per hour

Overtime Opportunities: 3rd shift team members are typically able to pick up additional hours Monday through Thursday to help reach a full 40-hour week, with additional overtime available beyond that when opportunities arise.

What You’ll Do

• Operate coil winding machines with accuracy and care.
• Follow blueprints, specifications, and detailed instructions to produce precise coils.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read job instructions and perform basic math.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Comfortable using manual and powered hand tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Hoist/crane experience and forklift certification are a plus.
• Safety-first attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical exam.

Working Conditions & Requirements

• Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors.
• Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.
• PPE: Wear required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear.
• Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).
• Stamina: Stand for long shifts.
• Skills: Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork.
• Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
