Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret punch press equipment to fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documentation
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
• Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance to specifications
• Utilize precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned

Description

Are you an experienced machine operator who enjoys precision work and takes pride in producing high-quality parts? Labconco is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team operating turret punch press equipment used to fabricate sheet metal components for our laboratory products.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with machining or metal fabrication experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, safety, and craftsmanship matter.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM


• Overtime available and occasionally required based on production needs


• Initial training will be completed on day shift

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate turret punch press equipment to fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications


• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documentation


• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed


• Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance to specifications


• Utilize precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances


• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues


• Maintain accurate production and quality records

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Experience operating manufacturing or machining equipment

Preferred

• Sheet metal fabrication experience


• Experience operating turret punch press, punch press, CNC, laser, or similar metalworking equipment


• Knowledge of manufacturing tolerances and quality standards


• Previous experience in a fabrication or metalworking environment
