Labconco is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team, operating turret punch press equipment to fabricate sheet metal components for laboratory products.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing tool changes, inspecting parts, and maintaining records in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Experience in machining or metal fabrication is preferred, with potential overtime on the 2nd shift.

Qualifikationen

• Experience operating manufacturing or machining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as Calipers, Micrometers, Tape measures, Thickness gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and handle materials in a manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate turret punch press equipment to fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documentation.
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
