Service Wire Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator Trainee to join a growing team. The role covers machine setup, operation, quality monitoring, and data recording to ensure defect-free wire products.

Responsibilities include forklift transport, routine maintenance, and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent and basic math/measuring skills; in-person attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 1 year related industrial experience or equivalent training.
• Demonstrate strong basic math and measuring skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions, direction, and correspondence, both oral and written.
• Cooperatively works with members of the manufacturing department and other employees.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments without climate-control.
• In-person attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and setup machines for production by positioning the payoff, feeder, and take-up.
• Operate the machinery by adjusting and maintaining production controls according to specifications.
• Monitor the quality of wire during production and the finished product.
• Perform routine lubrication of machinery parts and minor preventative maintenance.
• Observe machine operation for equipment malfunction and report immediately.
• Record detailed daily production data.
• Maintain safety standards and clean work environment.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
