GAF in Mount Vernon, Indiana is looking for a Machine Technician responsible for producing high-quality products in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in safety practices and demonstrate effective communication with team members.

The Machine Technician is responsible for producing high-quality products through accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities. The Machine Technician will perform various rotating duties related to all manufacturing operations, supporting managers and plant staff to meet operational goals. Employees will contribute to a highly motivated and positive environment. The Machine Technician must be familiar with all areas of the process, along with any off‑line equipment associated with the production line. All technicians are responsible for operating safely and monitoring product quality. This role will be in our commercial facility, making TPO products, working a rotating schedule across 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.
May require occasional travel in connection to job duties as it relates to conferences, site visits, professional development or learning opportunities, etc. Advance notice of travel expectations/events will be provided.
Base hourly rate: $34.87
