Job summary

Standard Process Inc. in Palmyra, WI seeks a Machine Operator for the Solid Dose department to run high‑speed presses, encapsulation, and soft‑gel lines, producing tablets, capsules, and gels per the Master Manufacturing Record and GMP/SOPs.

Shift is 3:00 pm – 1:30 am, Monday–Thursday (four‑day week). Pay $23.08–$25.39/hr plus a $1.50 shift premium. Responsibilities include quality checks, labeling, changeovers, and routine troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills including fractions and measurements.
• Good documentation and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Able to interpret procedures and follow instructions.
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate tablet presses, encapsulation or soft-gel equipment.
• Verify product name, number and lot code against label.
• Monitor quality with in-process checks and record results.
• Complete finishing and labeling for inventory processing.
• Change machine parts and tooling to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot machine and product issues and report to supervisor.

The Operator will take ownership of the operating process to produce solid doses of various supplements (tablets/capsules/soft-gels/etc.). The operator will work with a wide range of product granulations and/or gelatin materials and will troubleshoot product and machine related issues.
