Job summary

Standard Process Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to operate tablet presses, encapsulation and soft-gel equipment in the Solid Dose department.

The role requires following GMPs and SOPs, performing in-process quality checks and assisting with changeovers and setup during a 4-day 1st shift (5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday). You will work with various granulations and materials, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, accurate production of tablets, capsules and soft-gels.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills including fractions and measurements.

• Mechanical aptitude for handling equipment and tooling.
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine and product issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate tablet presses, encapsulating machines or soft-gel equipment per MMR.
• Verify product name, lot code, and weight; perform in-process checks.
• Complete finishing and labeling for inventory processing.
• Transport products within department and adjust equipment to specs.
• Troubleshoot issues and report to supervisor as needed.

The Operator will take ownership of the operating process to produce solid doses of various supplements (tablets/capsules/soft-gels/etc.). The operator will work with a wide range of product granulations and/or gelatin materials and will troubleshoot product and machine related issues.
