Job summary

Standard Process Inc. is seeking a Mix/Mill/Granulation Operator for 1st shift (2:00 am – 2:30 pm, Tue–Thu as responsibilities require) to produce ingredients in a GMP environment.

You will weigh, measure, and blend raw materials following standardized formulas, maintain batch documentation, and ensure product quality through QC checks. Requires high school diploma and experience in manufacturing/food processing preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in a food processing environment preferred.
• Experience as a machine operator preferred.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment and processes as outlined in the product Master Manufacturing Record (MMR), GMP’s and SOPs.
• Add all batch ingredients and ensure formulas are correct and ingredient usage by recipe is accurate.
• Place ingredients in mixer for processing.
• Check whether re-work should be added to batch and add accordingly.
• Monitor quality of product by performing quality control checks and collecting samples for lab testing.
• Maintain and record batch sheets, end shift reports, ingredient lot tracking, etc.
• Complete labeling and inventory movements for accurate inventory control.
• Monitor machine operations and implement corrective action as needed.
• Troubleshoot machine and product issues; communicate with supervisor/lead.
• Dismantle and clean accessories and equipment between batches; maintain a clean work area.
• Perform machine changeovers and sanitations.
• Adhere to company Quality and Safety standards.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Mix/Mill/Granulation Operator will be responsible for producing various ingredients, learning good manufacturing practices, and following standardized formulas for weighing, measuring, and mixing raw materials.

Shift

1st shift. 2:00 am - 2: 30 pm Tuesday - Thursday, or as job responsibilities require.

Pay

Starting Pay: $23.08/HR

Functions

• Operate all equipment and processes as outlined in the product Master Manufacturing Record (MMR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Add all batch ingredients and ensure that all formulas are correct and ingredient usage by recipe is accurate
• Place ingredients in mixer for processing
• Check to see if re-work should be added to batch and add accordingly
• Monitor quality of product by performing all relevant quality control checks and collecting samples for lab testing
• Maintain and record all required documentation (batch sheets, end shift report, ingredient lot tracking, etc.)
