Job Summary: As a Machine Operator, you will ensure the efficient and safe operation of machinery, including set-up, monitoring, and operation of the lathe slitter to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Work Schedule: 1st shift, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on Friday/Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the Single Knife Lathe Slitter according to specifications.
• Load and unload raw materials, ensuring proper alignment.
• Monitor machine operation for smooth and efficient production.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Follow safety regulations to maintain a safe workspace.
• Keep detailed records of production, materials, and quality data.
• Assist in training new operators when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably with single knife lathe slitters.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Teamwork and ability to follow supervisor instructions.
