Protective Industrial Products (PIP), a leader in global safety, is looking for an entrepreneurially minded individual with a proven track record to head up our E-comm channel for North America. Having experienced explosive growth over the last five years, we continue to work in an agile and entrepreneurial mindset.
Join our fun and fast-paced production team of skilled technicians. We specialize in short and medium production runs, as well as prototyping all types of industrial and cleanroom garments, primarily working with lighter weight fabrics. Our equipment includes single needle sewing machines, sergers, flatfellers, bar tackers, walking-foot machines, snap setters, etc. We operate in a bi-lingual environment (English and Spanish).
As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities include preparing the sewing machine by changing needles and thread, securing attachments, maintaining quality by inspecting finished products, and ensuring equipment operation through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and notifying supervisors of service needs.
Salary ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6am-3:15pm, Friday 6am-11:00am. Benefits include a package with 401(k) matching, vacation, insurance, and company-provided life insurance.
