Summary:

Soldering of PCB assemblies on the wave solder machine utilizing controlled programs and/or profiles specified by engineering. Ability to perform all start-up and shut down routines required as documented on the manufacturers or company procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling.
  • Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL).
  • Start the equipment, select the correct program or profile as outlined in Oncore documentation, and operate to solder PCB assemblies.
  • Perform daily and weekly Preventative Maintenance, recording results in a maintenance log.
  • Measure solder pot requirements based on the chemistry contents of the machine and add necessary metals as required.
  • Follow start-up and shut-down procedures and safety protocols to operate machines.
  • Inspect board output to ensure it meets IPC-A-610 Standards.
  • Ensure all processes are signed off according to work center requirements.
  • Support and adhere to ISO standards related to NEOTech's Quality Management Systems, including quality, environmental, health, safety, and security standards.
  • Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Utilize electronic manufacturing systems (e.g., OCuity).
  • Pass IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification.
  • Pass IPC-A-610 Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, & 8.
  • Ability to multi-task with a strong sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Obtain operation specifications through OCuity.
  • Knowledge of machine maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year of experience in electronic manufacturing environment preferred, utilizing similar equipment.
Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (wage depends on experience, education, skills, and market data)
