Pratt Industries is seeking a Machine Operator for the Austell, GA area on 2nd shift. The role focuses on running, setting up, cleaning, and improving operations, with emphasis on quality and safety. You will train First/Second Helpers and cross-train on other machines.

This hourly, full-time position requires basic computer skills, strong math and problem-solving abilities, and reliable communication to support production goals and schedules.

Qualifications

• Must learn and assist mechanical set up.
• Must troubleshoot problems and assist repairs.
• Must have knowledge of current Production Software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality including liner, warp, size and print.
• Check equipment for damage and maintain safety standards.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Train and assist helpers with job duties on the machine.
• Cross-train on other machines to cover shifts.
• Complete reports such as Production Data and Safety Data timely.
• Submit maintenance work orders for repairs and assist in upkeep.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest improvements.
