Our manufacturing facility in Lebanon, OH, designs and produces products for customers worldwide.

We are seeking a Machine Operator on second shift (M-TH 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM) to operate various production machines, such as waterjet, gang drills, u-clip cutter, wave machine, shear, and punch press, supporting our mission of being a forward-thinking, collaborative, and ethical business.

This position offers a 20% shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process parts following blueprints and specifications, meeting scheduled router hours.
• Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools to perform operations with close/exact tolerances.
• Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials into machines.
• Maintain and inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow.
• Start and monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and adjust controls as needed.
• Clean and maintain machine tooling and parts to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain and edit programs to optimize performance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines with good time management.
• Demonstrates KBC values of accountability, discipline, trust, and proactive action.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Ability to set up and operate manual machine equipment.
• Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane, read measuring instruments, and maintain machinery.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; over 50 pounds requires assistance or lifting devices.
