Auto Lathe Machine Operator (Finance)

Job Summary: The Auto Lathe Machine Operator will operate single spindle horizontal screw machines to perform operations such as boring, threading, and facing metal wire, rod, or bar stock. The candidate should have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and set up machines, ensuring tools and materials are ready.
2. Insert stock, set stock stop, and start machines.
3. Monitor production, verify workpieces to specifications, and adjust as needed.
4. Ensure compliance with EHS and sustainability standards.
5. Work with Quality department to meet AS9100 standards.
6. Follow company policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1-3 months or training; or pass appropriate testing for ABC certification.
• Physical: Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently, 50 lbs regularly, and perform physical tasks for long hours.
• Training: First shift; after training, second shift available.
• Knowledge: English language, mechanical systems, production processes.
