Job summary

Green Bay Packaging in Wisconsin seeks a press operator to set up and run a rotary press, die cut, and related equipment with accuracy and adherence to specs. You will inspect dies, secure components, monitor box quality, and maintain ink and viscosity control while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to multi-task and keep up with the pace of production while maintaining quality and meeting efficiency goals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mathematical and problem-solving ability, and ability to effectively utilize a tape measure.
• Must be willing to work overtime including Saturdays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manually set up press, print, score, and die cut accurately in accordance with proper operating techniques and specs.
• Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure repairs are made before the next run.
• Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and tightly secured.
• Monitor box quality including loose liner, warp, correct size, die cut, and print.
• Become efficient in all aspects of the machine - pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
• Ink management skills/color adjustment (PH and Viscosity).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
