Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. in Archbold, OH is seeking a Production Operator to support daily manufacturing operations on-site. You will set up machinery, monitor quality, input orders, and maintain safety standards; a high school diploma and 0–1 year in production are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and housekeeping policies to maintain a clean work area.
• Ensure product safety and quality in all tasks.

Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Set up and adjust machinery by pushing buttons, turning valves, pulling safety cord, lifting die boards, using power tools & inspecting.
• Fill machine with correct ink and verify color match
• Input orders and monitor order throughout order.
• Wash machinery and equipment
• Conduct systemic quality checks by measuring boards and checking calibration to work orders.
• Input information into computer and complete paperwork.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
• Responsible for product safety and quality.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent. 0-1 year in a production environment, preferably in a corrugated box plant. Must have computer knowledge Able to communicate with team members.
