Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator, RHSB, to support Reheat Stretch Blow (RHSB) machines. The role emphasizes packing, inspecting, labeling, and preparing bottles for shipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with 6 months of packing or machine operation experience preferred. Candidates should be comfortable in a manufacturing setting and able to rotate tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more packing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Basic computer and scanning skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and work around production equipment.
• Wear required PPE at all times (bump cap, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes).
• Rotate between machines and packing styles as needed.
• Inspect product samples at the end of the conveyor for visible defects.
• Immediately report any defects to the Processor.
• Overtime may be required to support production or cover absences.
