A leading company in food and beverage production seeks a Manufacturing Equipment Operator in Oshkosh. PBNA $25.60/hour Click Here to watch our Realistic Job Preview Video. Pay rate is $25.60 +.50 shift differential. This position operates one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include moving raw materials to the production line, filling, capping, sealing, labeling, or packaging products. The role involves removing damaged products or supplies as needed, handling production, package, and flavor changeovers, and maintaining product inspection processes. Basic troubleshooting and minor repairs are required to ensure equipment runs efficiently. The position requires lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly over long periods, along with walking or standing most of the shift, and possibly stooping, crawling, and crouching over conveyors. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Operate and monitor production lines for efficiency
* Manage materials and finished products for proper flow
* Ensure quality of packaging and products
* Perform preventative maintenance
* Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
* Clean equipment and work area regularly
* Maintain good housekeeping practices
* Expedite repairs with maintenance support
* Record downtime and machine operations
* Collaborate effectively with team members
* Maintain reliable and predictable attendance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be 18 years or older
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with high-speed production lines
- Experience with pallets and forklift operation
- Experience operating packing, filler, and palletizer machines
- Ability to read blueprints and schedules
- Familiarity with manufacturing computers and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of sanitization and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Experience with minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
