Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Machine Operator Flexographic Printing to join our Illinois production team. This role focuses on setting up and troubleshooting flexographic printing, bag converting, and laminating machinery on a fast-paced line.

You will monitor paper, glue, and ink supplies while ensuring product quality and accurate quantities. The position requires good verbal and written skills, basic math, and a commitment to safe, reliable attendance with flexibility for non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting up and troubleshooting converting/printing machinery or similar processes.
• Experience preferred with large rolls of paper or plastic.
• Knowledge and use of various hand tools assigned including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
• Good verbal and written skills required.
• Basic Math required.
• Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

TITLE: Machine Operator Flexographic Printing

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Set up, troubleshoot, and maintaining flexographic printing, bag converting, sheeting, and laminating machinery to produce paper packaging.

SHIFT SCHEDULE

• First and second shift Hours: 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm. Monday - Friday
• Good work history required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in setting up and troubleshooting converting/printing machinery or similar processes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
• Fast-paced production floor with exposure to machinery noise.

TRAINING:

• Must complete ongoing training as required.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.
