Job summary

Inteplast Group Corporation is seeking a Converting Operator C to support the extrusion line and related finishing processes. The role requires following quality guidelines, operating and assisting with setup tasks, and maintaining clean, safe production areas.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, good communication skills, basic PC knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Attendance and flexibility for non-standard hours are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist Extrusion operator.
• Start Up and Chill Roll Cleaning.
• Perform Thread Up, Screen Changes, and Core Alignment adjustments.
• Blade adjustments and Die cleaning.
• Pack Finish Goods following procedures.
• Wrap up removal of idle rollers and pressure rolls.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices.
• Read production orders and ensure materials meet requirements.
• Support line Operations Coordinators and participate in corrective actions.

• Attend monthly Safety Training
• Follow established quality guidelines to produce a product that meets criteria.
• Closely monitor all film for conformance to specifications.
• Insure that quality issues are resolved and communicated quickly and effectively, to minimize negative impact.
• Insure that work instruction provided in Level 3 documents on ISO server are supported and follows See Production Training matrix.
• Actively support line Operations Coordinators as needed.
• Perform other duties deemed necessary by Operation Coordinator.
• Actively participate in corrective actions for film non-conformities, equipment abnormals, and material defects.
• Fully support and work toward achieving plant targets and goals.
• Insure paperwork Is filled out properly (Production ticket, timeline, stretch film inspection log, and SOC's)
• Be able to read production orders (film type, gauge width, footage, packing spec.) and insure all materials and supplies meet requirements.
• Supports and follows and housekeeping requirements.
• Familiar with quality defects for machine and hand film.
• Understands and follows hold procedure.
• Familiar and trouble shooting techniques for entire line.
