Job summary

Mueller Water Products is hiring a Machine Operator for 1st Shift (Mon.-Thu., 4x10) in Kimball, TN. You will operate testing equipment, read blueprints, and assist in assembly while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and prior manufacturing exposure. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 25–50 lbs are needed. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: 3+ years operating paint/blast equipment in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and position components appropriately.
• Safely operate overhead cranes to move materials.
• Read blueprints and procedures to determine specs and testing methods.
• Clean, calibrate, or repair measuring instruments and test equipment.
• Maintain production and quality logs and keep work areas clean and organized.
