Job summary

Danfoss in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Machine Operator to run multiple machines, inspect parts, and maintain safe, efficient production lines. You will read blueprints, monitor cycle times, and help ensure quality while working with a team.

Starting pay is $20.50–$22.00 per hour with a $2.50 shift premium on select shifts, plus a sign-on bonus up to $1,000. Benefits start day one, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, holidays, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and adhere to standard work procedures.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, control plans, and work instructions.
• Basic experience with measurement tools such as gauges or measuring tape; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee multiple machines to manufacture high-quality parts that adhere to specifications.
• Inspect parts using gauges and measurement tools to verify accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure safe and efficient machine performance by monitoring cycle times and identifying issues.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to support dependable daily operations.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area to facilitate a seamless production process.
